This week, 3rd and 4th Class marked Internet Safety Day with a visit from members of An Garda Síochána. The visit was both informative and engaging, helping pupils to better understand how to stay safe while using the internet.
The Garda spoke to the children about the importance of protecting personal information, being respectful online, and knowing what to do if they ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe while using apps, games, or social media. The pupils were reminded to always talk to a trusted adult if they encounter anything that worries them online.
