The boys in Room 9 headed out to the garden today to build some bird nests. Before going outside, we discussed some materials that we thought would be used by birds to make a nest. After, we watched a video of a bird building a nest for their young. Finally, we went out in the sunshine and constructed our own nests using branches, twigs, leaves, feathers and other natural materials. The boys built their nests in a safe location inside some posts in the garden, away from any potential predators. Take a look at some of our creations!
